WHO'S ALREADY ON IT: Science Fiction & Fantasy writer O. Westin started this fun thing a few years ago on That Social Media Site which I now call Xitter. Westin accepted the challenge of 142 characters per tweet to craft Micro Science Fiction & Fantasy stories – MicroSFF. Westin's teensy tales rocketed (ahem) into digital popularity; Westin has now left Xitter and keeps the stories coming on Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook, and Mastodon, and anyone who wants to support this wee venture can do so on Patreon or Ko-Fi. Westin has also launched a YouTube channel where the micro-texts are animated and voiced by Lena Bengtsson.
